Police in Chachoengsao, a province east of Bangkok, arrested a girl suspected of tricking one other woman into working as a prostitute within the United Arab Emirates. She is certainly one of six suspects in the case. The alleged victim informed authorities she was invited to work as a masseuse at a spa in Dubai. The lady who invited her was known as ‘Ms. Lilly’, and promised her a 40,000 baht month-to-month salary. After she flew to Dubai in September, Ms. ผลไม้แช่อิ่ม confiscated her passport and ordered her to offer purchasers sexual providers.
The Department of Special Investigation stated when the alleged sufferer wished to leave, she was informed she must pay 70,000 baht for bills. The woman arrested in Chachoengsao is Thai, while the opposite suspects are each Thai and international. Another was arrested in November, and the DSI director-general informed the Bangkok Post authorities were intensifying their search for the opposite four.
The woman’s identity was withheld. The director-general said she was the subject of an arrest warrant permitted by the Criminal Court on expenses of complicity in human trafficking and procuring and forcing a sufferer into prostitution.
The alleged victim obtained public attention in September when, whereas within the UAE, she posted a video on Facebook about her state of affairs. The video went viral, and PM Prayut then ordered the Labour Ministry to coordinate with the Royal Thai Embassy in Abu Dhabi to return her home.
